I like the ‘McCartney Rose’ for its flower and fragrance. The rose responds to good care. My rose is about seven years old. It has large canes from the graft. The laterals are large, too. The rose isn't attacked by black spot, mildew and rust as badly as other roses. Normal spray schedules keep them in check. Japanese beetles love it too. When you walk by the rose, the fragrance captivates you. The fragrance is very noticeable and is a dominating quality of this rose. Along with these qualities, the bloom is beautiful, a very clear and dark pink. It will captivate you. |
Everyone should have the ‘McCartney rose’ in their garden.
